Security Upped for Cross-Town Rivalry Game

An email sent to all USC students on Sunday said security will be increased by 25 percent, and "there is an integrated effort between both universities and a host of local law enforcement organizations to make the entire game experience around the Coliseum safe and secure."
The email also said the Coliseum's tailgating policies--"only one parking space per car and no amplified sound--will be strictly enforced."
"We want people to feel safe themselves, to bring their kids, their grandfathers if they want, so they can enjoy this great rivalry," said USC Athletic Director Pat Haden.
Twitter user Michael Gemme (@delnortez) tweeted, "the bRuins can add all the security they want, they ain't keepin' us out of the endzone #FightOn."
