USG Presidential Candidates Mikey Geragos and Vinnie Prasad talked to ATVN today about their presidential platform to institute change. They claimed that their creative marketing tactics and approachability gave them an edge against competing candidates.

They stressed that their ability to connect both the administrator and student branches will help them stand out.

"We're the only candidates to be in both the Advocacy which works for the Administrator's Branch and the Senate which works for the Student's Branch. So those experiences together will help us to get a lot done," Prasad commented.

Geragos stressed that they will ensure the dining halls, such as EVK, Parkside, and Cafe 84, are meeting the students' needs and expectations.

To implement these changes, Prasad addressed USG's budget, saying, "First of all, a lot of the money for some of these changes won't be able to come from just USG's budget. For example, keeping Doheny open later, things like that. That has to come from the university but what they need from us is a strong ability to advocate on behalf of students."
