Teen Dies of Alcohol Poisoning
A student at Panorama Senior High School was found dead Saturday morning after attending a party Friday night.
Salvador Guevara Preciado was reportedly binge drinking. He was 17.

An autospy on Preciado's death is still pending. Preciado was on the school football team and would have turned 18 on March 18.
Preciado "went to a local party with friends Friday evening" to celebrate his upcoming 18th birthday, police said. "According to friends, the decedent consumed a variety of alcoholic beverages at the party and 'passed out.' Friends drove the decedent to a friend's apartment on Cedros Avenue."
"Everyone brought their own drinks, and everything just got of control," one partygoer said. The teen said Preciado "was drinking too much, like he didn't have self control. After he passed away, I heard it was his first time drinking."
Preciado's mother, Irma Guevara, found him unresponsive when she picked him up Saturday morning. Paramedics pronounced him dead around 9am. No foul play is suspected.
Preciado's family heard many versions of what may have occurred at the party, including the possibility that the teen fell off a table and hit his head. The family hopes someone will come forward and reveal the truth. Preciado's mother believes alcohol intoxication caused her son's death, but was upset that nobody at the party called 9-1-1 for help.
A memorial with flowers and candles is in place for the deceased teenager at Pamorama Senior High School. Grief counselors are also available at the school for students and parents affected by the death.
