As the election looms nearer, President Barack Obama and GOP candidate Mitt Romney look to deliver strong performances in Monday's third and final presidential debate. Recent polling shows the candidates in a near dead-lock heading into the final two weeks of the campaign.

The debate, hosted at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fl., will focus on foreign policy, and gives the two candidates their final chance to address voters on a nationwide platform. General consensus says Romney dominated the first debate and Obama rebounded strongly in the second.

Bob Schieffer, who has hosted CBS Evening News for 23 years, will moderate the debate and hopes to frame "how dangerous the world is in which we live." Violence in Syria, strained relations with Israel, nuclear concerns with Iran, and economic woes in Europe are likely issues to headline the debate.

While foreign policy is considered a campaign strong-point for President Obama, polls show that this advantage has been decreasing slightly in recent weeks. The Pew Research Center's October poll shows that 47 percent of Americans believe Obama would make "wise decisions about foreign policy," while 43 percent prefer Romney.

Both candidates hope to utilize Monday's debate as a final push for key undecided voters. With only two weeks until election day, however, the candidates are nearly out of time.

Early voting has begun in many states and 4 million votes have already been cast nationwide.
