The Dream Center Shows Support for Giving Tuesday

One Los Angeles charity says "Giving Tuesday" is more than just donating money to a charity of your choice.

The Dream Center kicked off "Giving Tuesday" with a news conference discussing their participation in the nationwide day of charity.

"Giving Tuesday is an extraordinary event," said Pastor Matthew Barnett, the co-founder of The Dream Center. "I believe it is a revolution."

The first annual "Giving Tuesday" is expected to raise thousands of dollars for many charities across the nation.

"Giving Tuesday" is a nationwide day that is dedicated to helping many charities through donations of money and volunteering.

Pastor Barnett felt that this day allows a new generation of people to think of others and make a difference to the life of someone else.

The employees and residents of the Dream Center Charity say they are very thankful for the support of "Giving Tuesday."

"Giving is another day at DCC [Dream Center Charity]," said Justin Moreno, who is currently in the Ministry Program.
