Red Flag Warning Issued for Southern California

LA and Ventura counties are at risk for fires through Monday afternoon.
The warning, which lasts through 4 p.m., is a combined effect of humidity levels of six to twelve percent, temperatures well into the 90s, and gusty northeast winds reaching up to 30 to 40 mph.
The most extreme conditions are expected in the Los Angeles and Ventura county mountain and forest regions; however, the National Weather Service has issued the warning in the Santa Barbara, Santa Clarita, Burbank, Santa Monica and Mailbu areas as well.
According to the warning, “If ignition occurs, there could be rapid spread of wildfire that could lead to a threat of life and property.”
