USC Internet System Experiences Technical Difficulties
The USC wireless Internet system has been experiencing some technical difficulties since Tuesday leaving many students on campus without access to the Internet.
An automated message was posted to the server in response to the problem saying, "We are currently experiencing connectivity issues with both the USCwireless and the USCwireless plus networks. Some users are able to connect to these networks. We are aware of the issues and are working to resolve them as quckly as possible."
"It's especially hard because I'm trying to start to study for finals," USC junior Catherine Sutcliff said. "Without access to the Internet I can't access Blackboard, and I can't get to the files I need for studying."
The wireless Internet began to go out on Tuesday afternoon. Students continued to experience difficulties on Wednesday.
"We pay a lot of money to go to this school," USC junior Mallory Schluter said. "With that, I wish my computer would connect to the Internet more than 50% of the time."
