Candidates Gear Up for USG Debate

USG Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates give a preview of tonight's debate.

With less than a week until elections begin, the candidates for Undergraduate Student Government President and Vice President will square off Wednesday night in a debate at 6 p.m. in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center Forum (TCC 450).

Dan Schnur, director of USC's Unruh Institute of Politics, will moderate the debate. Neither side has been told what questions will be asked, not even the event's organizers have been let in on the secret.

Candidates began campaigning on Monday and have spent much of their time on Trousdale, talking to students and putting up signs.

The election will be Feb. 12-14. Students can vote online at www.elections.usc.edu or on-campus at five locations. Students will also be choosing Residential, Greek and Commuter Senators.

For more information on the candidates visit www.usg.usc.edu/elections.
