Snow Expected in Southern California
Southern California will be hit with rain, snow, high wind and high surf Tuesday as a winter storm blows down from the Gulf of Alaska.
Blizzard-like conditions are expected in the mountains. People are advised to stay off the roads or drive with caution when snowfall begins late Tuesday.
The University of Southern California campus is not expected to see any snow, but rainfall is expected to begin in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to drop to near-freezing conditions.
