LACMA to Host Mayoral Runoff Debate
The Los Angeles County Medical Association will host a debate between the city's two candidates in the mayoral runoff Tuesday night.

The debate is titled, "Conversation with the Mayoral Candidates," and will discuss issues of health care within the city, including adult and childhood obesity, fraud among health care benefit plans, and a lack of working physicians.
With the Los Angeles Mayoral runoff just a few weeks away, both candidates have been heavily campaigning throughout the city.
Eric Garcetti and his staff toured the Hollywood Family Source Center. The center is committed to providing services to help educate and empower Angelenos to find jobs.
Garcetti said today, "As mayor, I will create one-stop job training centers like this at community college campuses and in our community, like I have in Hollywood which helps connect constituents with hospital careers right down the street from here."
Wendy Greuel spent Monday morning meeting with local firefighters in Venice to discuss making resources available for public safety. Greuel also spoke on how she plans to better the community from within.
"I'm going to fight for good education, good jobs for my graduates at USC and others, create hubs for economic activity, and not only recruit people to come to school here, but recruit them to stay," Greuel said today.
Rocky Delgadillo, CEO of LACMA, will moderate the Tuesday night debate, which is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
