Friends of Qu Ming and Wu Ying also released a short film Thursday, produced by Joan He, called "City of Dreams" to commemorate their lives.

Thursday marked the one year anniversary of when Ming and Ying were killed while inside a parked BMW on Raymond Ave. on April 11, 2012.

Since the killings, USC has added security measures and paid for increased police patrols.
