Arraignment Date for Suspect in Northridge Kidnapping Postponed
The arraignment date for the man accused of kidnapping and assaulting a 10-year-old Northridge girl last month was postponed to May 2.
Tobias Dustin Summers, 30, appeared in a San Fernando court Thursday and was scheduled to be arraigned that afternoon.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Summers is charged with 37 felony counts

Summers was one of two suspects wanted in connection with the kidnapping. The other suspect, Daniel Martinez, 29, was arrested on April 1 and pleaded not guilty.
Summers was arrested Wednesday at a rehabilitation facility in Mexico.
On March 27, police say the young girl was taken from her home, driven around to different locations and raped before being dropped off near a hospital.
Bail is expected to be set at $19 million. If convicted, Summers faces a number of life sentences.
