Students headed back to school Monday morning after USC Head Football Coach Lane Kiffin was fired on Sunday.

Despite recognizing the unfortunate circumstance for Kiffin, many students were excited about the news.

Undergraduate students Nick Mindicino, Kevin Gao, and Margaret Winn all said that it was the right move for USC.

For now, the interim head coach is Ed Orgeron, who said in a press conference that he is "excited to be the coach for the next eight games."
