Free Vaccines for Homeless Pets on Skid Row

An organization provided free veterinary care for animals on Skid Row.

Project Homeless Connect held a service fair Thursday that provides free medical treatment for animals on Skid Row.

The event was part of the project's upcoming exhibit, "My Dog is My Home: The Experience of Human-Animal Homelessness."

Project Homeless Connect aims to bring services outdoors to people who don't have access to medical, mental health, housing and other resources.

My Dog is My Home, part of Project Homeless Connect, provided free veterinary care, grooming services and animal care supplies, according to the organization's website.
