Family Of Carlos Oliva Holds Demonstration Against Los Angeles Deputies

Family members demand autopsy of their son who was kileld by a Los Angeles deputy.

Family members of Carlos Oliva protested in front of East L.A. Sheriff's station on Thursday and demanded that his autopsy be released.

The Sheriff's Department is refusing to release the autopsy results.

Oliva was shot and killed in September when Los Angeles Deputy Anthony Forlano was responding to a domestic dispute in City Terrace, Calif.

A resident told deputies that there was a gun in the area.

Authorities say when the deputies responded, they saw Oliva with a gun and shot and killed him as Oliva pointed the gun at them.

The shooting was not related to the initial domestic dispute.

However, Oliva's family said he was an unarmed college student and did nothing wrong.

His family is questioning Deputy Anthony Forlando, who had been involved in 7 past shootings.

After his sixth shooting, Forlando was assigned to a desk job.

However, as soon as Forlando returned to this patrol duty, he shot Oliva to death.
