Hollywood Honors Jennifer Hudson With Star
Jennifer Hudson joined thousands of Hollywood legends Wednesday afternoon by receiving a star on the Walk of Fame.
The Oscar and Grammy winner was the 2,512 star to be immortalized on Hollywood Blvd.
Hudson made her Hollywood debut as a contestant on the third season of American Idol in 2004. Two years later she landed her first major film role as Effie White in Dreamgirls, which landed her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
Hudson was joined by her family, friends and executive music producer Clive Davis at Wednesday's ceremony.
Her newest film, Black Nativity, is set to hit theatres in two weeks.
