Report on Climate Change Predicts Dark Future

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report suggests that climate change is a bigger problem than previously speculated.

A newly leaked report written by an international panel of scientists suggests that climate change may not only pose a threat to the natural environment, but also to societies worldwide.

The report was drafted by members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and identified the wide range of impacts climate change has already had on people, ecosystems and economies.

The report states that the negative effects of climate change have occurred as a result of human-caused buildup of greenhouse gases.

The panel believes that climate change could put economic growth at risk, and worsen the state of poverty, hunger, global food supply and disease.
