USC Rolls Past Colorado 47-29
USC faced Colorado Saturday night in 29 degree weather, which ties for the second-coldest game in USC history. Fortunately, the weather didn't affect the Trojans as they dominated the Buffaloes 47-29. With the win, the Trojans improve to 8-0 all-time versus the Buffaloes.
The Trojans dominated the entire game taking a 23-0 lead going into the half. Sophomore running back Javorius Allen finished the game scoring three touchdowns and ran for a career-best 145 yards.

However, Allen wasn't done yet. On the Trojans next possession Allen ran in for a 23-yard touchdown, which extended USC's lead to 30.
Colorado's star receiver Paul Richardson struggled with an ankle injury not catching a pass until midway through the third quarter. Richardson finished the game with eight receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown. Richardson's 5-yard touchdown gave him the school's single-season receptions record of 79. This record was previously held by former-Buffalo wide receiver D.J. Hackett (78) in 2003.
Going into the fourth quarter USC led Colorado 37-7. Leading by 30 points USC back-up quarterback Max Wittek was given a chance to take the field. Kessler finished the game 19 of 28 with 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for the Trojans, the back-ups didn't perform as well as the starters. Colorado outscored USC 22-10 in the fourth quarter and cut the Trojans lead to 11.
Colorado quarterback Sefo Liufau finished the game throwing for 188 yards on 17 of 31 passing. His 38-yard pass to wide receiver Nelson Spruce on the second play of the fourth quarter was Colorado's first offensive touchdown of the night.
Following Richardson's touchdown, USC fullback Soma Vainuku ran in for a 52-yard score securing the Trojans 47-29 victory.
USC interim head coach Ed Orgeron leads USC to a 9-3 record overall and a 6-2 record in the Pac-12. Unfortunately, USC won't see the Rose Bowl this year as Arizona State clinched the Pac-12 South Crown with a 38-33 win over UCLA. Arizona State will face Stanford for the Pac-12 Championship.
USC will finish the regular season taking on cross-town rival UCLA at home with a kick-off time of 5:00 p.m. on Saturday Nov. 30.
