USC Organization Honors Fallen Bangladesh Workers
More than 30 USC students participated in a "die-in" Thursday in memory of the 1,100 of garment workers who died in the Bangladesh Rana Plaza factory collapse almost two years ago.
The students participating are part of USC's Student Coalition Against Labor Exploitation (SCALE), who work for equal rights for memebers of the Trojan family.
SCALE members say they are trying to send a powerful message about the harsh realities of being a sweatshop worker. Members laid on the ground covered in white blankets, symbolizing victims of the factory collapse.
