World Sends Emergency Relief to Philippines

Organizations provide aid to the victims of Super Typhoon Haiyan.

Countries have begun to organize aid as the scale of the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines began to unfold on Monday.

The American Red Cross has activated a family tracing service along with other operations to bring food and supplies to the millions of affected Filipinos.

UNICEF is taking donations to help provide children with shelter, food and medicine.

Other organizations such as the World Food Programme, International Rescue Committee, Save the Children, Habitat for Humanity and World Vision have also joined in the effort to provide necessities to those affected.
