USC quarterback Cody Kessler addressed the media following the official anouncement of Steve Sarkisian as the USC head coach. Kessler shared his optimism about the future of USC football under the helm of Sarkisian.

"Coach Sark is right there at the top," said Kessler.

USC offensive coordinator Clay Helton will serve as interim head coach for the Trojans' upcoming bowl game. Although Sarkisian will be part of the USC staff, he will not fully take over until Spring ball kicks off in 2014.
