Sports Analyst Weighs in on Coach Sarkisian

One analyst said Sarkisian's work in Washington won't be good enough for USC.

Many sports analysts shared their thoughts Tuesday on the University of Southern California's decision to hire Steve Sarkisian as the Trojans' next head coach.

LA Times sports commentator Chris Dufresne said that Sarkisian is a sensible choice for USC, but FOX sportscaster Steve Hartman was critical of the university's decision.

Hartman said that it's going to take a long time for USC to rebuild its team, regardless of the coaching staff.

Hartman added that he never expected USC to keep Coach Orgeron for another season.

Gary Klein from the LA Times also commented on the new hire saying Sarkisian wouldn't be another Lane Kiffin.

Rich Hammond from the Orange County Register said Sarkisian's track record in Washington wouldn't be good enough for USC.
