Attackers of Giants Fan Bryan Stow Plead Guilty
Two men pleaded guilty Thursday to beating a San Francisco Giants fan in 2011 outside Dodger Stadium.
Marvin Norwood, 33, pleaded guilty to one count of assault and was sentenced to four years in prison. Louie Sanchez, 31, pleaded to a felony count of mayhem and received a sentence of eight years behind bars.
The pair attacked Bryan Stow on March 31, 2011 -- the opening day of the 2011 season -- outside Dodgers Stadium after the game while Stow was walking through the parking lot.
Stow, a paramedic from the San Francisco Bay Area and a 44-year-old father of two, remains permanently brain damaged.
In exchange for guilty pleas, prosecutors dropped other charges against Sanchez and Norwood.
