USC Athletes' Artwork on Display at Galen Center

The ninth annual Louis Galen Artletics Exhibition gives USC athletes the opportunity to showcase their artwork at one of USC's athletic venues.

The Roski School of Art and Design and the USC Athletic Department have teamed up again this year to host an exhibition of student artwork at the Galen Center on Wednesday.

The exhibition features artwork by 24 student athletes and will be on display in the Galen Center's Hall of Fame from February 5-28. The exhibit will be free to the public and open during USC athletic events or by appointment.

Started nine years ago, the exhibit is named after USC alumnus Louis Galen. Galen was an avid supporter of the USC Athletic Department and the Roski School of Art and Design, USC officials said. His wife, Helene, founded numerous art initiatives, including the Galen Ceramics Lecture Series.
