Covered CA Enrollment Rising

Community members gathered at Olvera St. Thursday to celebrate the millions of people who enrolled in Covered California.
Covered California gives residents a chance to compare health plans and choose the best for their needs.
Young adults is one of the main groups the program targets. USC was awarded one of the largest outreach and education grants to target community college students in Los Angeles County.
Some critics say the cost of coverage will increase for people who already have healthcare. But some doctors are happy with the program.
California may become a model for other states. March 31st is the last day to sign up for 2014's coverage.
