Toll Roads to Play Important Role in California Transportation

Mayor Garcetti gathered with government officials and transportation leaders to discuss the progress of the 2016-2040 Regional Transportation Plan at the San Gabriel Valley Transportation Forum on Wednesday.

This plan aims to improve transportation across Southern California, including public transportation, freeways and regional trains.

Leaders of the Move L.A. non-profit discussed the importance of expanding the Metrolink's access to Ontario and the San Bernardino International Airport. 

Emphasis was also placed on expanding toll roads to increase funding for the 2016-2040 Regional Transportation Plan.
