The No. 2 USC sand volleyball team defeated No. 1 Pepperdine 4-1 at home on Tuesday.
USC handed Pepperdine its first-ever regular-season loss. The Wave's came into the match with an all-time record of 41-1 over three seasons.
The Women of Troy will now prepare for a double-header at home versus Oregon and Cal State Northridge.
