SCOTUS Hears Arguments on Birth Control Coverage

Those for and against birth control coverage expressed their concerns.

Protesters marched outside the Supreme Court Tuesday protesting a case involving contraceptives, corporations, and religious freedom. Those for and against birth control coverage expressed their concerns.

The Hobby Lobby corporation said the Obamacare provision that makes all employers provide health insurance for birth control is unconstitutional.

Experts said one of the most important parts of this decision will be how the Supreme Court decides to answer whether corporations have religious freedom.

Some experts fear granting for-profit companies religious freedom will open the door for challenges to anti-discrimination laws.

It is unclear when a ruling will be handed down.
