Traffic Anticipated As Netanyahu Speaks in West L.A.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is slated to talk Thursday about global Jewish issues and Israeli security at the Museum of Tolerance in West Los Angeles, and heavy traffic around the museum is anticipated.
Until 12:45 p.m., drivers will experience congestion on Santa Monica Boulevard between the 405 Freeway and Melrose Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Additional traffic will be seen at Pico Boulevard between Roxbury Drive and Castello Place. Police expect the 405 Freeway between Wilshire Boulevard and the 105 Freeway to be heavier than usual as Netanyahu departs Southern California.
Netanyahu arrived in L.A. on Tuesday for the premiere of "Isreal" - a tourism film about Israel. On Wednesday, Netanyahu traveled to Northern California to sign economic cooperation agreements with Governor Jerry Brown.
