Winter Storm Causes Closures, Delays Flights

A University of Virginia student says this is her third snow day canceling classes this year.

Another winter storm has hit the East Coast causing major closures and canceled flights. Four to eight inches of snow is expected in many states, and Virgina and Tennesse have already declared a state of emergency. Airlines have canceled more than 5,000 flights and delayed thousands since Saturday.

Numerous offices and schools shut down Monday due to the snowfall and even Congress has postponed scheduled votes. Jan Walker, a University of Virginia student, says this is her third snow day off school this year.
