'X-Men' Director Accused of Teen Sex Abuse
Michael Egan III spoke at a news conference in Los Angeles Thursday and described being drugged, threatened and forced to perform sexual acts in Hawaii and Los Angeles over several years.
"You were a piece of meat," said Egan, describing how he and other teenage boys were viewed at the home where Singer abused him.
Singer is known for producing films like "X-Men 2" and "The Usual Suspects."
Egan is suing Singer for emotional distress, battery, assault and invasion of privacy, and is seeking more than $75,000.
Singer's attorney said, "It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan's new movie is about to open in a few weeks."
