Google Glass Released to Public
Google opened their google glass to the public Tuesday, but a new report by Consumer Watchdog is raising privacy concerns about the device.
The Santa Monica based watchdog said Google Glass will do more harm than good for society. Their number one concern is invasion of privacy.
While Consumer Watchdog said they see nothing but a negative impact on the world from using Google Glass, others say they are looking at it through a more positive lens.
Next semester USC will offer a class about this "augmented reality". Rober Hernandez, who will teach the class, said privacy issue is not unique to Google Glass.
The explorer edition of Google GLass went on sale earlier Tuesday. An updated version is expected to be released after the Google conference in June.
