ITMC: Teamwork During Run-Through Week

This week marks run-through week for the digital Media Center, the last chance for new and experienced reporters alike to work out the kinks before actual broadcasts begin.

ATVN executive producer Faith Miller takes us through the mechanics of a live broadcast dry run, while journalism graduate student Gabriel Cortes gives us a glimpse behind his first attempt at a television story on L.A's brutal heat wave.

Day-of-air radio and television broadcasts launch next week, with the promise and peril of separate media outlets converging under the same digital umbrella for the first time.
