No. 3 USC Men's Water Polo Drops First Games of Season

Senior driver Kostas Genidounias explains the Trojans will reevaluate their gameplan following their first two losses.

The No. 3 USC men's water polo team (10-2) suffered its first two losses of the season during the Kap7 NorCal Classic in Stockton, California. After winning back-to-back games to advance to the semifinals, the Trojans dropped a tight 9-7 thriller to No. 2 UCLA and then packed their bags after a 11-10 defeat to the No. 4 California Golden Bears.

Despite no longer being undefeated, the team is confident they can move beyond the losses and excel once again. Senior driver Kostas Genidounias was named the tournament MVP and discussed USC's plan to rebound against No. 13 Pepperdine Saturday.
