Post-Game Press Conference vs Oregon State

USC's Steve Sarkisian, Cody Kessler and Su'a Cravens discussed the Trojans big win over OSU.

The No. 18 USC football team (3-1, 2-0) came off the bye-week Saturday with a dominating 35-10 victory over visiting Oregon State at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum. Head caoch Steve Sarkisian, redshirt junior quarterback Cody Kessler and sophomore safety Su'a Cravens talked about the Trojans' performance and particular plays, such as the hailmary touchdown to end the first half and Cravens' pick-six.

"That big play Su'a had [sparked us]," said Kessler. "Our defense was doing a great job and that put a lot of pressure on our offense."

Sarkisian noted the Trojans' discipline struggles, tallying over 100 yards in penalties. The play caller, however, is not concerned and believes his team will move past it.

"Sometimes you have weird stuff that happens in the game. I don't expect that to happen again."

As the Trojans kept their PAC-12 record unblemished with the win, with the heart of the schedule ahead, Sarkisian acknowledges the need to keep improving as a team.

"We have to raise our level of play as the season moves on, because we've got another great challenge next Saturday night."

USC will play host to PAC-12 foe Arizona State Sun Devils on October 4.
