Post Colorado Game Press Conference
The No. 22 USC football team (5-2, 4-1) dominated Colorado 56-28 Saturday in a homecoming clash of PAC-12 opponents at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans were led by redshirt junior quarterback Cody Kessler, who set a single-game school record with seven touchdown passes.
Following the game, head coach Steve Sarkisian, Kessler and sophomore safety Su'a Cravens talked about how the Trojans were able to operate so efficiently and take advantage of some key Colorado mistakes. Kessler also discussed how he was able to pick apart the Colorado secondary and the historic company he now finds himself alongside in the USC record books.
Cravens jarred a ball loose early in the game with a devastating hit on a Buffalo receiver and it was captured by teammate Kevon Seymour for the interception. Cravens commented on how this big play was part of a strong defensive effort by the Trojans.
USC will be back in action for another PAC-12 South showdown this coming Saturday at 7:00 p.m. as the team travels to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on the Utah Utes.
