New Arrangement For Student Visas
President Obama announced during his visit to China that the two countries reached an agreement on student visas. Both the U.S. and China have agreed to increase the validity of student visas from one to five years.
With more than 4,000 Chinese students enrolled at USC, the impact of the change will be tremendous. Today’s decision will allow both American and Chinese students to more easily travel back and forth, making foreign study a more attractive option.
