USC Football's Telfer In-Studio, Agholor Wins Award
The USC football team (7-3, 6-2) held onto an early lead to beat down California in a Thursday night brawl at the Coliseum. In the 38-30 victory, junior wide receiver Nelson Agholor recorded 16 receptions for a staggering 216 yards and two touchdowns. On Monday, it was announced that Agholor has been named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, honoring the nation's top receiver, as well as receiving the National Receiver of the Week award.
Redshirt senior tight end Randall Telfer recorded two catches for 15 yards and one touchdown in the win. The Rancho Cucamonga, California native talked about Thursday's victory and shared his experience with the Trojans over the course of his career.
USC will be back in action Saturday, as they travel to the Rose Bowl to take on crosstown rival UCLA.
