USC Baseball Pursues Perfection

The undefeated Trojans reach eight-straight for first time since '88, battle Bulldogs Tuesday.

The USC baseball team (8-0) remains unblemished, after sweeping a weekend series against visiting Oakland at Dedeaux Field. The Trojans outscored the Golden Grizzlies 26-10 over the three-game stint, including an 11-1 victory in Saturday's matchup fueled by junior infielder AJ Ramirez's four RBI performance.

Sparked by the team's best start since 1988, many of the Trojans spoke about their up-scale level of play and are optimistic about their chances moving forward. USC will put its perfect season on the line Tuesday, as the Trojans travel to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs at 6:35 p.m.
