Women Of Troy Befuddle Bulldogs

USC lacrosse dominates Fresno State, 17-6, in first game at McAlister Field.

The USC women's lacrosse team (2-2) returned from a split two-game roadtrip in New York for a matchup with Fresno State Tuesday at McAlister Field. The Women of Troy dominated the Bulldogs from start to finish, turning a 12-2 halftime lead into a 17-6 victory.

In the win, sophomore attack Michaela Michael set a MPSF record with 15 draw controls, as well as netted a hat trick en route to being award the game ball. Junior midfield Amanda Johansen gave Michael a run for player of the game by posting five goals for USC. 

The Women of Troy will take a two week hiatis from game action before returning for a four-game homestand, beginning with a March 9 showdown against the Liberty Flames.
