Student Startups 03/03/15

Junior Nika Kermani has turned her passion for dance into a business.

Today's Student Startup features Nika Kermani, a dynamic individual with entrepreunerial dreams. Kermani teaches Zumba at Lyon Recreational Center, as well as private organizations like sororities and USC Housing.

She has taken her love and talent for dance and has transformed it into something that enriches the lives and well-being of students. Dance has given her the opportunity to start a business venture that coincides with her life-long passion.

"As a psychology major I really believe in holistic forms of health and how that definitely begins in the mind and that translates throughout your whole life. Dance is very good for the mind, as it is for the body, but I think that music and dance, that fusion of things in Zumba is what makes it so powerful" Kermani said.
