USC Pro Day Shifts Trojans Stock

The USC football Pro Day featured two Trojans fighting for their rightful draft status.

USC football held its annual NFL Pro Day Wednesday, with 15 different Trojans making appearances on the gridiron in front of dozens of NFL scouts and coaches. Stealing the spotlight for most of those in attendance was defensive lineman Leonard Williams, a projected top-three pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, cornerback Josh Shaw, who addressed the concerns that teams may have about his off the field issues, and wide receiver George Farmer, who declared for the Draft after an injury-plagued career at USC and ran a 4.35 40-yd dash.

The Trojans used their time on the field as the ultimate audition and job interview to make it to "the League," and will have almost six weeks to continue to train and meet with organizations before the Draft begins April 30 in Chicago.
