Women of Troy Return Home
The No. 3 USC women's water polo team (17-2) returns to California after a successful Hawaiian roadtrip where the Women of Troy went 2-0, outscoring their opponents 32-4. After taking out both Ponoma-Pitzer and Hawaii, USC played an exhibition match against the Brazillian National Team and solidified a 10-8 behind a six goal halftime lead.
Senior captain Monica Vavic, who moved into first on USC's all-time leading scorer list, talked about the team returning to the continental United States and facing off in more common territory. The Women of Troy will take on the Loyola Marymount Lions in Westchester, California Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
