Activists Gather To Commemorate Armenian Genocide Centennial
President Obama has decided not to use the word "genocide" to describe the mass killings of Armenians at the hands of Ottoman Turks. The murders are considered by many to be the first genocide of the 20th century. More than 40,000 activists are expected to take to the streets Friday for the "March for Justice" that will start in Little Armenia and end at the Turkish Consulate on Wilshire Blcvd.
