No. 7 USC Battles UCSB

The No. 7 USC baseball team (25-6, 7-2) rides a five-game winning streak into a battle with UC Santa Barbara as the team returns from a weeklong conference roadtrip. The Trojans started the PAC-12 performance by stealing two of three games against the Washington Huskies, with both wins coming in extra innings. After the trip to the Pacific Northwest, USC wandered into the desert where the bats came to life, sweeping the three-game series against Arizona behind 27 runs.

The meeting with the Gauchos is the tailend of a home-and-home series and UCSB knocked off USC 3-2 in the earlier matchup. The Trojans look to avenge the loss Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Dedeaux Field.
