USC Slams Sticks with SDSU
The USC lacrosse team (11-4, 7-1) look to rebound from the first Mountain Pacific Sports Federation loss of the season with a regular season finale battle against San Diego State Saturday. The Women of Troy saw their four-game winning streak snapped against the No. 15 Stanford Cardinal in a 12-6 loss on the road, but the team is confident that they will be able to bounce back and enter postseason play on a positive note.
USC leads the overall series against SDSU 2-0, with last season's matchup going to the Cardinal and Gold in a 13-9 thriller at McAlister Field. The Women of Troy and the Aztecs will square off in San Diego Saturday with faceoff slated for 7:00 p.m.
