Students Find 'New Media Mindset' In Media Center

A converged media production hub is changing the way some students think about journalism.

The 2014-2015 academic year brought with it a lot of changes for students at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Most notably was the addition of the Julie Chen/Leslie Moonves and CBS Media Center.

The state-of-the-art facility inside the brand new Wallis Annenberg Hall on the University Park campus quickly transformed the way journalism, communication and public relations students learned their craft at USC.

With students cranking out award-winning journalism all year, we decided to ask students how the Media Center has changed the way they do journalism. Here's what they had to say:

Students in the public relations programs also saw one of the biggest changes in their curriculum as the Media Center became their classroom. Listen to some of them reflect on their experience working with journalism students below:
