USC Defense Brings The Heat in Tempe
The USC football team came out hot this weekend in Tempe against Arizona State University. The Trojans routed the Sundevils in a 42-14 win on the road. The Trojans were dominant on both sides of the ball, but it was the defense, led by linebacker Su'a Cravens and safety Chris Hawkins who carried the Trojans to victory.
Cravens and Hawkins spoke post-game about the team's defensive improvement overall. The team forced three fumbles and one interception, while seven different players recorded tackles for loss. During the bye week the No. 17 Trojans will look to continue their momentum and work on stopping the run as they look towards Washington on Thursday, October 8.
