USC Women's Volleyball Battles the Bruins

USC Women's Volleyball took home the first win of the BMW Crosstown Cup in yesterday's rivalry game against UCLA.

The No. 3 USC Women's volleyball team (13-0) continued their undefeated streak after a big win last night against crosstown rival UCLA at Pauley Pavillion. The Women of Troy took home the first match of the BMW Crosstwon Cup when they defeated the Bruins by sweeping three straight sets. The Trojans were led by freshman outside hitter Alyse Ford and Senior Samantha Bricio who shared 21 kills collectively.

Head Coach Mic Haley discussed the team's composure and execution even in the face of increased pressure by UCLA. He said he believes the Trojans will carry that discipline throughout the season. Next up for Women of Troy is the No.8 defending Pac-12 champion, the Stanford Cardinal. The Trojans will travel north to face the Farm on Sunday, September 27.
