'Yellow Alerts' Proposed To Catch Hit-and-Run Suspects

A USC student says new legislation signed today could've helped catch the driver who almost killed her.

The governor has signed new legislation that will set up an "amber alert" type system to catch hit-and-run drivers.

The new system will display information about hit-and-run suspects on large billboards along California's freeways.

Advocates and USC students say the new bill will change lives and help bring dangerous drivers to justice.
